  About the Course
According to Monitor Group, strategy execution was at the top of the priority list for C-Level executives again in 2006.

Overcoming execution challenges and focusing the organisation on the few things that drive competitive advantage is the hallmark of all great organisations. Yet, few companies succeed in executing strategy, and fewer still are able to sustain success once achieved.

The Balanced Scorecard has emerged as the world's first and most proven methodology for strategy execution, guiding 100s of companies to achieve breakthrough performance.

This course, the first in a series of completely redesigned courses offered by Palladium Group and Balanced Scorecard Collaborative will set you and your organisation on the path to breakthrough performance results.

You will review a fresh look at proven concepts with all new case examples derived from our growing list of more than 75 Hall of Fame for Strategy Execution™ companies around the world. This insight will help you return to the office the following day ready to implement these ideas with passion and rigor.

With over 10,000 people around the world trained in our Hall of Fame series, our training materials, case experience, and instructor knowledge is second to none. Our entire training faculty has direct experience working side by side with Drs Kaplan and Norton, a claim that no other organisation can make.

If you have attended one of our previous courses you will find this course to be a great refresher opportunity with all new case materials to keep your interest and learning at a high level. If you are new to the BSC, this course will give you a sound foundation on which you can build.

  • Explore numerous best practice examples

  • Understand how to build a good Strategy Map

  • Participate in a group exercise to build a draft Strategy Map using an example from the group itself

  • Understand the importance of themes and cause and effect relationships in Strategy Mapping

Module 4

Measurement is a powerful motivation tool for an organisation to signal the behaviours that will drive tangible results. The Balanced Scorecard harnesses measurement as a way to drive the organisation to achieve performance breakthroughs by creating focus and alignment on the things that matter.

  • Learn how to map initiatives to your strategy

  • Explore methodology to screen and prioritise initiatives to create maximum focus

  • Explore best and worst practice examples to understand what works in practice

Where similar interests apply, small group discussions may be formed.
